Do you love coffee (or tea)? Do you love networking, sharing lean best practices and solving lean problems together? If yes, we are rolling out a new informal program called Lean Coffee Chats! We will have 60-90 minute sessions in different locations around Michigan.

What are the benefits?

  • Leverage our membership knowledge base
  • Focus on implementation of lean tools
  • Opportunity to network
  • Share best practices
  • Stay connected with other MLC members
  • ALL FOR FREE for members (+ you can bring a non-member guest for FREE too!)

What a typical agenda will look like:

  • Meet and greet
  • Lean implementation topic and brainstorm - bring a topic suggestion or come ready to ask for help with a lean issue you are encountering
  • Learn about MLC and upcoming events
  • Networking
This lean coffee chat will be facilitated by Bob Peery:

With 25 years of manufacturing experience, I began my lean journey in 1995 while working in the automotive industry. During this time, I have held leadership roles in Operations management and Lean/Continuous improvement roles in the Automotive, Building Products, Life Sciences, and Food Service Industries. Having worked with over 100 different facilities in North America on process improvement through Kaizen and training, has provided me the opportunity to see the unique and creative ways people have applied Lean to solve their problems. Today, I find myself just as much a student of Lean as a coach.
