The IT industry is (finally) embracing Lean principles and transforming the way work is done. Focusing on people, principles, and Lean tools; IT is now able to meet the unprecedented market and customer demand at a speed and with a quality never before seen. The approach is called Agile - the actual methodology is called Lean. Come journey with us for 90 minutes as we talk about actual Lean thinking and tools used to enhance IT process and delivery. This safari will be loosely coupled to allow all participants to have their questions and challenges addressed. The target audience is people who are struggling with their IT Lean journey as well as people new or interested in seeing how Lean is applied to IT. Douglas and Matt have have over 30 years combined experience in IT (on prem and cloud). Douglas is a certified SPC with Scaled Agile (SAFe). Matt is a certified Advanced Scrum Master (SAFe).

Lean and helping others is a passion of Douglas’ and Matt’s. Douglas and Matt are certified LSS Black Belts experienced in changing a culture to empower front line workers to become critical thinkers and Lean practitioners. Direct experience in the following industries: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, IT, Pharmacy, Retail, Project Management, etc.
