Michigan Lean Consortium (MLC) Membership for State of Michigan Employees


State of Michigan Membership is Sponsored by the Office of Continuous Improvement. 

The State of Michigan is a Superior Member of the Michigan Lean Consortium (MLC) providing access to all benefits of MLC membership to every State of Michigan employee.

This membership allows state staff to access valuable Lean learning opportunities, connect with a statewide network of practitioners, and strengthen Michigan’s culture of continuous improvement — with no cost for you to register as a member. 

How to Join the MLC

Joining the MLC as a State of Michigan employee is simple:

  2. On the registration page, select “My Organization Has a Membership.”

  3. Using your SOM email complete and submit the registration form.

Once submitted, the MLC will add you to the State of Michigan bundle membership, and you’ll automatically be added to our email list to receive event invitations, news, and resources.

Is there a cost to join?
No. The MLC membership is sponsored by the Office of Continuous Improvement and is available at no charge to all State of Michigan employees. Some events or trainings may include additional fees, but as a member, you’ll receive discounted rates.

Do I need to sign up for a mailing list?
 No additional sign-up is needed — your registration automatically adds you to the MLC mailing list. If you’d like to receive text message updates, you can opt in during the registration process. (Note: we use text sparingly and will not spam you. You can view our Text/SMS Consent Policy here.)
