Program Title / Synopsis: Pettibone Traverse Lift Gemba event - Focus on how we have applied the basic Lean principles in a Heavy Equipment Assembly environment over the past 5 years. Such topics include Takt Time production, Just In Time delivery systems, Level Production Loading, Visual Production / Andon procedures, Value Stream Mapping, water strider applications, kitting, and other replenishment systems.
Program Learner/Participant Objectives: How to apply Lean concepts in a low-volume / high mix manufacturing environment.
Targeted Audience: Anyone who wants to enhance their learning of Lean concepts
Bio: Scott Raffaellli, Vice President of Operations, Pettibone Heavy Equipment Group. I have been applying Lean concepts for nearly 15 years in various manufacturing settings, and at various levels within an organization. Continuous Improvement experience in Gemba Kaizen, Distribution / Kanban, Production Preparation Process, and Safety. In addition, I have participated, lead, or consulted in over 100 Kaizen events and was trained by Shingijutsu Consulting of Japan.
