We invite you to join us for an immersive Gemba Tour at Peckham Manufacturing, a trusted partner in innovative apparel manufacturing and textile solutions for commercial and government customers. With more than 30 years of experience, Peckham delivers everything from early-stage prototypes to high-volume production—while staying deeply committed to quality, continuous improvement, and people-centered operations.

During this Gemba experience, participants will spend time on the manufacturing floor observing real work, engaging with leaders, and learning how Peckham aligns Lean principles with workforce development across five diverse business lines. You’ll gain insight into how mission-driven manufacturing operates at scale while remaining agile, customer-focused, and inclusive.
You’ll also have dedicated time for questions and discussion—ask what you’re curious about, from process design to culture to leadership.
Brett Linton | Manufacturing Operations Leader
Brett leads manufacturing operations at Peckham with a focus on strategic transformation, operational excellence, and workforce development. He brings nearly 30 years of manufacturing experience across oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods. Brett is deeply committed to fostering a learning-based environment and promoting lifelong growth for all team members.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and serves as Treasurer of the Capital Area Manufacturing Council. An outdoor enthusiast, Brett has a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the people behind Peckham’s high-quality products.

Parking & Arrival Please use the West Entrance at 3510 Capital City Blvd, Lansing. This entrance is located at the first drive east (right) on Capital City Blvd off Grand River. Free parking is available in the guest lot.
Additional arrival instructions (check-in location or host meet-up details) will be provided prior to the event.
We understand that plans change. In the event you are unable to attend an event, refunds will be issued in full for cancellation refund requests received in writing via the events@michiganlean.org email at least seven (7) days before the event. Refunds will not be issued when less than a seven (7) day notice is provided. After submitting your cancellation refund request via email, please allow up to ten (10) business days for your refund to be processed. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled event date. If the event is cancelled, all purchases will be refunded in full.
